Tab Browsing
Always opening websites in tabs instead of new windows.
When you click on some links, a new browser window opens automatically. But the latest Internet Explorer also supports tab browsing.
One can adjust the settings in such a way that Internet Explorer automatically display all links in a new tab instead of a new window. For this, click on ‘Tools’ and open ‘Internet Options’. In the ‘General’ tab, open ‘Settings’ under ‘Tabs’.
The ‘Tab Browsing Settings’ dialog opens. Activate ‘A new tab in the current windows’ under ‘Open links from other programs in:’ and you also could activate the ‘Always open pop-ups in new tab’ option under ‘When a pop-up is encountered’. Now confirm twice with OK and your problem is solved.
